Requirements
Three (3) years relevant tertiary qualification in Public Financial Management/Asset Management. One (1) year functional experience in Asset/Financial Management Services. Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of Government Procurement Policies. Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management procedures. Specific delegation from the relevant Act. Internal policies. LOGIS and BAS system. Skills: Verbal and written communication, Interpersonal relation, Decision making, Problem solving, Presentation, Decision-making, Problem solving, Presentation, 21 Page 22 Conflict management, Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Internet.
Key Responsibilities
Verify assets and record them in the Provincial asset register. Execute the disposal of assets in line with the departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for acquisition of assets in province. Monitor the operational performance and maintenance of assets in the province.
